Bio Rem's Oil Cops™ absorbent is a 100% naturally occurring absorbent used to absorb petroleum products and other hydrocarbons from below ground and surface spills. Our Oil Cops™ absorbent loves hydrocarbons, but rejects water making it the perfect medium to recover free product from insitu groundwater or for surface spill clean up applications. Because Oil Cops™ rejects water so well it reduces the overall cost and handling when recovering and sending the residual waste to treatment or final destination facilities. Bio Rem's Oil Cops™ absorbent encapsulates the contaminant and will not allow it to escape. Once the contaminant is captured it can be disposed of at local landfills or treated with our exclusive H-10™ bacteria if necessary for final disposal. Our Oil Cops™ product can be packaged in bulk for general use or in custom socks, bailers, netting, or other devices designed for specific applications. Below is a few examples of those applications:
